About FOUND Africa Technology

A 2008 vision, engineered into a continental catalyst.

The seeds of FOUND Africa were planted in 2008, fuelled by a single, unyielding vision: to bridge the digital divide locking out millions of high-potential young African minds. Today we operate at the convergence of commerce, programmatic ledgers and physical infrastructure.

Founder's Note

From humble beginnings, we've grown into a movement, driven by the passion and potential of Africa's youth. Today, as we operate the FOUND Africa Technology Empowerment Foundation (FATEF), we stand at the cusp of a new era.

FATEF is more than an organisation; it's a catalyst for change. Through D.O.P.E., Digital Classrooms, the DOPE Learning Tracker and the Red Cup Project, we equip young people with the skills they need to succeed in the digital age — building a vibrant ecosystem where innovation flourishes and communities are empowered.

Together, let's bridge the digital divide, unlock Africa's potential, and create a future where technology is a force for economic growth, social progress and lasting change.

Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme

200+ Digital Officers trained and deployed since 2023.

FOUND Africa Technology is a registered Host Organisation with the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP). Fellows join us as Digital Officers and complete a structured foundational training plan covering digital skills, Google Workspace tools and basic AI. They receive additional training in soft skills, AI literacy and project management, and are assigned to real social-impact tasks, community-engagement campaigns and internal operations, with a high concentration across Oyo State and Ibadan.

Reporting cadence

Public ledger feed coming online.

Verified inbound transfers, surplus routing and deployment disbursements will be published here as each reporting cycle closes. We do not publish projected or illustrative figures — only settled, auditable entries.

Transparency Ledger

Every margin, fully traceable.

We replace transactional, unpredictable donation dependency with an autonomous, programmatically enforced asset-backed allocation system. This page is maintained by FOUND Africa Technology and aggregates publicly reportable metrics. It is not an independent third-party audit.
